    fresh fruit
    interesting design
    stuffy room
    no fresh air

We enjoyed the delicious fresh fruit and typical Costa Rican breakfast. The architectural design of the house was interesting, but the room lacked fresh air and ventilation.

Interesting and nice place with excellent staff and amazing location very close to the railway line. Coffee, fresh bread, and eggs for breakfast with large portions.

Fairly clean hotel in a beautiful building just next door to church and bells and Cartago, Costa Rica. Suite with a balcony. An individual safe, multi-channel television, and a refrigerator available. Wonderful and cozy location around 10-15 minutes walk from Plaza Mayor. Also, very close to the railway line.

    train noise

I loved the fresh, delicious breakfast that included gallopinto and fresh fruits, and the hot shower was a nice touch. However, the noise from the nearby train tracks was hard to ignore.

    good breakfast
    central location
    friendly staff
    limited outdoor space

The breakfast was good and filling, perfect for fueling our family outings. The central location was a bonus since we could easily walk to the nearby basilica. The staff was genuinely great to our little ones.

My kids wished there was more outdoor play space for them to enjoy.

The stay was enjoyable, highlighted by the comfortable and beautifully decorated Junior Suite. I appreciated the accessible common areas that provided a great space to relax after visiting nearby attractions like the Basilica. The breakfast options were good and included authentic local dishes that set the tone for each day. Although it was quite warm during our visit, the team was attentive and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable.

    delicious breakfast
    inviting atmosphere
    missing air conditioning
    inconvenient parking
    warm nights

In the heart of town, the location is unbeatable, just a short stroll to the amazing basilica. The delicious Costa Rican breakfast featured fresh farm-to-table products and was a highlight of each morning. Impeccably clean and comfortably decorated, the room also had a lovely patio that added to the inviting atmosphere. The absence of air conditioning was nice, and the limited parking options outside the gated area were slightly inconvenient.

The super nice team . The trains passing by every hour were quite bothersome early in the morning. Location is perfect for accessing the main church and eateries nearby. Breakfast included fresh fruits and typical local dishes.
